Although the Elham staff follows up on the progress and monitoring all aspects of the program, the Elham District Coordinators are tasked with providing applicants in their districts with support during thenomination process. Elham District Coordinators have the responsibility of answering questions and followingup with nomination results and processes in their district. The Elham District Coordinators are introducedwhen the Nomination Phase is launched; their contact information is included in the Elham Nomination Kitand the Elham Website. The Ministry of Education and UNRWA are responsible for the recruitment ofqualified Elham Coordinators that will participate during the duration of the program. The ElhamCoordinators are considered employees of the school district, and their participation plays a vital role in thestrengthening and deepening the presence of Elham in the school environment and the local community. 

 

Elham, prior to the launching of the Nomination Phase holds a workshop to train coordinators about Elhamand the Nomination Phase. The workshop addresses all the technical and conceptual aspects of the programand the nomination phase. The workshop aims to provide the coordinators with all the needed details andinformation so that they are prepared to answer all questions, inquiries, and serve as effective source ofsupport to applicants.
